Dr. Brent Goldfarb is Associate Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. Goldfarb’s background and area of study is concentrated on entrepreneurship, with a focus on the role technology plays, as well as, decisions of investors and venture capitalists in new industries. Dr. Goldfarb’s published works appear in a variety of business news magazines, newspapers and journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Inc.com. He holds his Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University and his BS.c in Computer Sciences and Economics from Tel Aviv University.
